Tim Weerdenburg (1988) is an independent and fashion photographer from Delft, the Netherlands. After completing his studies in Conceptual Image at the Dutch Photo Academy, he has had publications in Numéro, FAULT, het Parool, MirrorMirror, and Kaltblut, among others.

Weerdenburg shoots his images on analog negatives and develops them himself. His images often focus on staged situations involving human bodies, using fashionable elements, theatrical lighting, and alienating sets.

In his work, Weerdenburg plays with the past, present, and future. For example, he uses AI to create images that he projects onto models, and then captures these models using analog methods — or he shoots models on film and then brings them to life using AI. The contrast between the future and the past is also visible within his images through the use of contemporary styling and an 80s and 90s aesthetic in image color, lighting, and set design.
